Works perfectly. go to Accessories & Consumables

I don't know what the fuss is about but I just made sure the rubber grommets were in place and installed it around the album and just put it in the sink that it was, thoroughly cleaned A very old album that didn't matter, I just wanted to make sure it was doing what it was supposed to do before using it in my new record cleaner which I just bought and finally received today. It's nice that it comes with 2 extra rubber pads and some nice rags if needed and gosh I love the wooden box. I really wasn't expecting such a nice box for what I paid for it like $24. Dollars and some loose change but it's really nice to store the clamp, yes more than you expect for this money. I don't think you will pay more after checking out everyone else. I'm glad I found this one cheaper at $5-10 and they all looked the same but anyway they were just all different names I've seen but getting a nice well made box was a huge plus , if you get what I mean. Used it today over the sink with microfiber towels, one for washing and one for drying. I took my time washing the record but it was difficult to hold onto the puff handles which are only about 1 inch wide but the wash was poor. I tried drying them using microfiber rags to hold and dry and I shook the album to let the water out from under the hem, I buttoned and unbuttoned the handles and saw there was no water on the label , but what was left of the seal, which ran a little on it, but only a little to dry. So I tested this old album and yes I will say it works as intended at a great price. I wouldn't buy it for $5 or $10 more unless you care about wasting money, didn't they write a song about it? Professionals do what they need to do, at a great price. I saved 5 to 10 euros on the purchase. I say buy it, you won't be disappointed, just see how to use it to get started and no problem. Additional pads for later use. A really well made wooden storage box, worth using and not losing any extra padding and such. Use your head and you shouldn't have a problem, plus a great wooden case to store it so you don't lose any extra parts. And why anyone gave it 1 star is beyond me, I think they didn't use common sense initially because it does what it was designed to keep water off the label.

Pros
  • This handy device keeps labels dry and gives you a pen to hold and spin vinyl records under running water.
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
