Revain complimented me on how it fits my 2011 VW GTI MK6. I should have looked at it a lot more closely. It looks almost identical. The problem is twofold. The first problem is not serious. The original VW part consists of the N80 valve and two other pipes that lead to the area behind the intake manifold. You'll have to remove the radiator fans, throttle body, and another bracket or two to access the two hidden mounting points. Another limitation is that you must have small hands. Big mittens don't have to try. There is a much simpler solution to this problem, just cut the hose that goes to the right side of the valve and cut the hose that comes out of the new valve. You can use a small piece of 5/16 inch tubing and two clamps and save yourself over an hour of work. The biggest problem with this valve is the electrical connection. My car had a tiny plug. If you look closely, the plug is almost three times the size. I had to send it back. Good thing Revain has a fantastic return policy.
