Review on 🔧 Enhance Suspension with Skyjacker D30 Softride Coil Spring - Set of 2 by Gregory Chaitanya

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A simple setup of a 2001 Dodge Ram 4x4 with an added lift. Drives great! Smooth and responsive controls!

I installed them on my 2001 Dodge Ram 4x4 5.9L OFF-ROAD, I increased the stroke by about 1.5 inches, maybe 1.75 max, which meets the Skyjacker specs for my truck model very close. Higher than stock springs, one slipped with no compression, on the passenger side I only had to compress it a little for it to slip. Originally I was just going to add Daystar spacers to the stock springs, but found that new springs are better than spacers. I'm glad I went this route. I still have a little rake that I'm happy with, nothing looks worse than a truck with the front higher than the rear! I ride like a truck so some stiffness doesn't bother me, I didn't want the ride to be too soft. I didn't know what I was missing, my truck runs great with these springs. To be honest I also installed the Bilstein 5100 series shocks at the same time so it's hard to tell how each affects the ride but overall I'm very, very happy with the Skyjacker springs. The bumps are dampened, the ride is so smooth but not soft, and it has good handling. After the springs and dampers I got new KMC and Toyo 35" x 12.5 Open Country R/T wheels, my front fender is now just under 42" and my rear fender is 43", WOW!
