Review on 🔍 Spectre Performance (SPE-98625) 14-Inch Low Profile ProFab Inlet Kit by James Edwards

Warning to those considering this air cleaner - this is a work in progress. This means that the surface is made of raw aluminum. For me it was no problem. The product is what you would expect from a Specter - a mid priced part with decent welds and material quality. With a bit of lube and lots of polish it looks great in my engine bay. My only concern is that the steel base doesn't actually seal the air cleaner hat. While I'm sure 80% of the air enters through the cold air duct, I'm a little disappointed that some of the heat from this manifold goes into the 1/4 inch gap between the two pieces. Air filter so you don't have to worry about dirty air getting into the engine, but still - it's a little annoying considering the price.
