Quick and easy installation - all you need is a 15mm socket and/or combination wrench. The Monroe SC2962 is significantly larger in diameter than the original part and has a larger piston. It has all-weather fluid and a 1/2 inch diameter carburized shaft. Supplied with assembly plan and NUT, BOLT and GASKET. DOWNLOAD NOT included. The image on the left shows a stock Mopar shock (made in Japan) next to a (made in USA) Monroe SC2962. The image at right shows the Monroe muffler on a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Steering is vastly improved, vibration and blurring is completely gone - overall stability is noticeably improved, especially in crosswinds - and it helps avoid the Jeep's dreaded "death rocking"! I would buy this shock again and would recommend it to anyone who wants better than OEM performance at a reasonable price!
