Review on Lenovo 23.8 Inch Ultra Thin NearEdgeless 66BCKCC2US 1920X1080P Monitor - Tilt, Flicker-Free, Wall Mountable by Harel Elevyn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice little monitor

Good edge-to-edge uniformity, easy connection, cluttered but user-friendly menu system. I have no dead pixels. I thought I had a group of bad ones right at the bottom dead center, but it turned out to be a mouse cursor that didn't completely move off the screen. The monitor comes with pictures just for a quick start, but they give an address and QR code for the actual manual and driver (if you want it). The address didn't work, but the QR code took me to the right page, so I emailed myself the link so I could access it from a real computer. Out of curiosity I made a PDF DL manual to see how detailed it compares to the quick start guide. The assembly instructions said to lay the monitor down and "place the stand and base on the monitor". So much for the details. Very funny. Something like a product description that says "ultra thin". This applies to the screen, the fact is that there is a huge box that protrudes from the back and runs the entire length of the device. I was impressed with the tool-free stand assembly. It's quick and easy, and of course it's just as easy to fold down. Marketing stupidity aside, this is a very good utility/business/home office display, crisp and clear. It is fired and has been running in 24/7 surveillance mode for a few days and shows no signs of breakage. I'm sure anyone looking for a primary or secondary monitor that requires this resolution will find it very comfortable to use.
