Hello, I don't know much about drill bits except that they make holes in things. For example, until recently I didn't know about the various twists, flutes, etc. However, I have some training that requires the use of drills, and only for metal, only standard carbon steel of varying hardness. The first one took quite a long time, and part of that time I had to dry drill. Milling like with conventional titanium drills bought in hardware stores is no longer necessary and the drilling time is greatly reduced. Chips go fast. I've ordered a replacement that uses Slow Curl and I'm not getting the same cleansing effect so I'm placing another order for one of these. Sincerely, Josh Smith Smith Sites
