This TECHTOO 3G 4G Dipole Antenna is amazing! I think most people use it for routers or to extend their range for Wi-Fi, but I ended up using it for an entirely different purpose. I have a "toy level" quadcopter and the original antenna on the transmitter is just a fancy pigtail with a bare end. I started by unsoldering the old pigtail and soldering the new pigtail with the SMA male adapter on the end. Then I closed it up and attached this bad boy to it. Now my range has almost tripled before I lose control of my quadcopter and I can control it more precisely than before. In particular, I wanted to use a dipole antenna because of its radiation pattern. Dipole antennas produce an omnidirectional signal perpendicular to the axis, which gives me the best coverage in the air. The design of this antenna is very high quality. It looks great and works very well. I highly recommend this antenna for quadcopter upgrades or for the original purpose of amplifying your signals.
