I used these on a Cherry four step Murphy bed I made for my daughter who was expecting my second grandson. and was looking for something that would make assembly and conversion simple and straightforward. Simply put, the crib does a great job with these things. I used 3 on the headboard and footboard on each side for the side panels and 3 on each side of the footboard to hold the fold down/tuck in panels for the cot and then 16 more for the 2 height adjustable cot mattress supports. . 8 for each height adjustment. by attaching it to the headboard and footboard with an L-bracket. I wanted to use one tool for all builds and customizations, it made things easier. with 1/4-20 head screws for everything. I used a 21/64 or .328 drill bit for the holes since the smaller thread diameter is .322 with gauges.
