As others have reported in their reviews, this lock stays closed and won't open after a fairly short period of time. Luckily our circumstances were such that we were able to return the next day, found the bike still there and spent another hour fiddling with the right combo, trying a makeshift reset tool, blowing any dust out of the mechanism and that too repeat above over and over again and then diplomatically slammed the concrete on which it finally collapsed and the bike was free. We're lucky again. In slightly different circumstances, this could be a big problem. No more kryptonite combination locks for my family.
