I looked at a lot of different wireless thermometers before buying this one. I've had it for a few days now and have been using it on the grill and upstairs ever since. The battery life is phenomenal. I left it on for about 6 hours and it still shows 100% battery life. The app is quite user-friendly (I didn't look into it, only saw the temperature). Pairing with my phone was pretty easy too. I've used it not only to measure meat temp, but also to measure ambient temp for both the grill and oven and have been happy with its performance. The range is also excellent. My grill is in the back yard and I went in and up the stairs to the back of the house. Basically, I got as far away from the grill as I could and still stayed indoors, and I never lost the signal. One thing I'll notice (which is probably to be expected) is that the probes don't stay silver after grilling or in the oven for long periods of time. They get darker and I'm not sure how dark they end up getting. It's not a problem for me because I don't plan to show them, but it might be for others. To be honest I don't know if it can be deleted because I didn't delete them that often. I don't know what the longevity will be and I will come back and update my review if I see a significant change in how the thermometer works.
