Review on 🔑 Convenient Chamberlain 956EV Keychain Remote Control for Garage - 1 Pack by Shaun Bushey

We normally use our garage door as our main entrance and were looking for a smaller alternative to our 3 button Chamberlain 953D 315MHz remote controls. This 956EV remote isn't as small as I thought it would be, but it's compact enough to fit in your pocket. It has three different keys that you can set for three different doors like office and home, or you can just set all the keys for the same door. If you've been in the market for one of these remote controls, you already know that there are compatibility issues in terms of the frequencies to select. Fortunately, this particular 956EV model is new and versatile. This means that it should work on both 315MHz and 390MHz devices and you don't have to worry. The entire setup is easy and only takes 10 minutes or less. All you have to do is activate remote learning mode by sticking a pen in the bottom right-hand corner and then pressing the learn button on the garage door opener head unit. After that, you have 30 seconds to press the desired button multiple times until it matches the block and the light goes out or the door opens/closes. Don't press the button too fast or you'll miss the point. Hold for at least one second between each press. Once the device has found your remote control, you can press any other button on the remote control to exit learning mode. It is so easy. If you set it up correctly, it should work just fine. I never had to push the button more than once to open/close the door like some of the other reviewers mentioned here. The range is also very good. It's just a few feet shorter than the 953CD. Given the smaller size, I'm not complaining. I've uploaded some photos of the 956EV alongside the 953CD and Apple remote to give you a better idea of the size and thickness. It's not as thin and small as we'd like, but it's quite suitable for its application. It's a bit thicker than the Lift Master keychains, but I don't think they're universal or multi-band, which explains their thickness. I hope this review helps you with your decision.
