I have been using this bag for almost 2 months now, wanted to give it time to see how it is doing with my 5 day fitness plan. My sneakers (size 11) and shower slippers fit in the shoe compartment. By using the shoe compartment, you lose almost half the space of the main compartments. Luckily, this bag is large, taking up most of the locker but leaving enough room to make getting in and out easier. My work clothes, a towel and a few essentials fit into the main compartment. The side pocket holds soap, deodorant, headphones, a lock and other useful items. Small top pocket holds your wallet and keys for quick access. You can easily stow your protein bars in the slide-in pocket on the side. I only use this in the duffel configuration, I didn't see a need to use the backpack configuration. Overall I'm impressed with the build quality of the bag and glad it has everything I need.
