I usually buy my children's coats with a separate zip fleece lining and outer shell. I'm tired of kids losing one thing after another, so this year we tried this down jacket. I am so amazed and glad we tried this jacket! It's perfect! This jacket is plump, voluminous and warm, but when you pick it up it weighs literally nothing. The padding is very light. This jacket is very true to size, my little boy can easily zip it up himself and it's comfortable to wear. We've already had a snow storm this year and this jacket has been worn both on the long walk to school and while tobogganing. My baby has never been cold.
