Review on RAM Mounts Double Ball Mount for Humminbird Helix 5 with Medium Arm - Drill-Down Option (RAM-202-153-202U) by Brian Manfre

Wow! So I recently decided to buy a Humminbird Helix 5 for our 17.5 foot Ranger Sport (1995). My plan was to mount a sonar head unit on the driver's side and when I stopped to fish I could flip it forward and use it that way and also because I have a smaller bass boat and because I'm modest and don't fish one anyway Ton. So it's a little awkward to fish from the front and keep turning around to see my sonar, but it works exactly how I envisioned it. This RAM mount is strong and easily adjusts to almost any position you want. I am very happy. This RAM mount doesn't come with hardware to attach the Humminbird Helix 5 mount to the RAM, but that's fine. I went to the hardware store, bought some stainless steel locknuts, washers and screws and quickly installed the helix mount onto the RAM. However, it does come with screws that you can use to attach the RAM base to your boat. Super happy I bought this item. I love the fact that I can quickly detach the fish finder and RAM mount after a day's fishing and store it in a place where no one can steal your fish finder.
