Got this when my prior egg slicer broke. I cook with baby portabella mushrooms quite frequently and wanted a slicer for the nights when I don't want spend time chopping with a knife. I don't know how long I have had it, but it has held up for some time. I tend to use it for two or three containers of baby portabella mushrooms. I've seen a blade bend a time or two, but it has given plenty of use and is still working. Just make sure you have brush to clean it properly.
