Ok, the description on the website is a bit misleading. 6000 lbs is tensile strength, WLL working load limit is 2400 lbs. I use them with items in this weight range so no problem but the site should be promoting them that way. I gave it 4 stars for ease of installation as you have to drill holes to access the bottom of the trailer. It was fine for me for what I used it for but if I'm mounting it on my toy tractor for example you need to make sure you don't mount it over water or storage tanks or a gas tank as you have to access the bottom around the metal bracket and install the hardware. Otherwise a great purchase.
