Installed in my snowmobile trailer. As others have said you will need a 3 inch hole saw. The base plate is quite large and stabilizes the screed. They are great bang for the buck.

Ordered four packs of recessed cable ties. On arrival I noticed that the carriage bolts supplied were low grade 1 (307A) rather than the advertised grade 5. No doubt why the cost was so low. Class 1 fasteners are very weak, low carbon bolts.

The mounts themselves are very good. Sturdy, nice base plate, bolts fit well and are long enough. The only problem is the installation. You will need a 3" forstner bit or a router to cut the mounting hole so that it is flush with the floor. I had no problems but maybe if you don't know what you are ordering.

The brackets are solid as described, not bad for daytime installation. Just make sure to look under your trailer when deciding where to place them and to attach them to my toy tractor I had to get screws 2cm longer

Very good value for money. The bolts are strong and of good quality, the base plates are strong and the anchors are sturdy. Note that if you have a jigsaw, you don't need a hole saw. Simply use the base plates as a template, draw a circle and drill/cut. Very easy. They are durable and easy to install. Received it today and installed it in about 45 minutes.

I ordered a set of 8 and used them all on my 30ft trailer. My 1" drill bit was just the right size for the holes. The trailer has both a rear and side loading ramp and it was possible to install mounting hardware with both with an 8 pack. Sturdy base plate and gives great power in use. Some proposals didn't have a baseplate, but cost about the same. All round good value.

Not sure if they really are rated for 6,000, 2100 lbs clearly stamped on the brackets. I didn't realize this until I installed the last of my four sets. Carriage bolts will work, but I don't think they are of a higher strength class. They are in addition to the actual 6k anchor bolts that I have already installed. Although I did NOT measure the skid plates, I think the skid plates are slightly thinner on this kit. For a trailer I would use them again and they are a great buy for the money. If…

Ok, the description on the website is a bit misleading. 6000 lbs is tensile strength, WLL working load limit is 2400 lbs. I use them with items in this weight range so no problem but the site should be promoting them that way. I gave it 4 stars for ease of installation as you have to drill holes to access the bottom of the trailer. It was fine for me for what I used it for but if I'm mounting it on my toy tractor for example you need to make sure you don't mount it over water or storage tanks…

My buddy bought some for his trailer and I decided to buy one too. I saw what he had and I didn't like it. This is a pretty heavy setup. The bolts and plates that run under the trailer are designed for tough use. I was so impressed by how strong they really are. The top plates also seem to be quite strong and can add some pretty good strength. I will say this, I drilled a hole exactly the same size so the bolt would go through.
