We have a Gray Parrot AND HE LOVES IT! Like most African Grays he is a little clumsy, but this perch gives him a great base to swing, hop, swing, hold on to and climb on! The size seems almost perfect. We have a second one, the first lasted just over a year before becoming too worn in the upper mounting area. It has more to do with the poultry than the manufacturing process. As most bird owners know, the rattling of an attached bell is a thing of the past in about a minute. I replaced it with one of those 1.25" and 3" Caitec Paradise stainless steel wind chimes I found at Revain and our little Harley bird loves his play stand!
