Very good Boeing best in Birds

The Boeing arrived well before the delivery time. Very well packed. The Boeing itself is very durable and can hold a much larger parrot than my Senegal. My only complaint is that there are a few spots on the rope where the threads need to be pulled taut to keep my Senegalese nails from getting tangled. It only took a few minutes with the scissors. My Senegal is now sitting on a Boeing and not on a favorite perch.

While my African Gray slowly warms up.

Although my gray parrot is starting to warm up, I'm sure she was immediately intrigued and is playing with it trying to decide if she wants to mount it. I think she'll be smitten with him soon. Update: It's quite substantial, and while she continues to chew on the floor, it and the bell are still perfectly intact. I thought the call would drop right away but after a couple of weeks it's still fine. Now she climbs on it and has a great time. I have a toy hanging in the middle at the top and she…

Good perch for a large cage

The bungee bird toy is great for use in a large cage. We put ours in the corner and it runs top to bottom and wraps around the cage giving our birds extra perches. They love the different levels the bungee creates (one parrot sits on top, another in the middle, and another on the bottom). a branch of a tree, except for a colored thread. Just be careful your bird doesn't chew the thread and swallow it. They also need to be replaced when they become dirty.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

I love this toy! for toys

My robin loves this perch. In fact, all my birds love bungee bass. But this size is perfect for this particular kennel. I have to buy different sizes for all my birds and their cages mainly because of the size of the cage and the size of the bird's feet. This is a great bass to try in a nice tall cage. Birds love to jump on it and nibble on it. I have to change mine regularly because Nikki chews them up. (and puts most of the rope in his water bowl?) lol You can also stretch and bend the perch…

Excellent for Clumsy Gray!

We have a Gray Parrot AND HE LOVES IT! Like most African Grays he is a little clumsy, but this perch gives him a great base to swing, hop, swing, hold on to and climb on! The size seems almost perfect. We have a second one, the first lasted just over a year before becoming too worn in the upper mounting area. It has more to do with the poultry than the manufacturing process. As most bird owners know, the rattling of an attached bell is a thing of the past in about a minute. I replaced it with…

Great for preventing calluses on the feet of clipped winged birds.

Love these. I use a few in my aviary for my Goffin Cockatoos and African Grays and they spend most of their time perching on them or flying around between them. They also hold up great in the rain and hot Florida sun, but I make sure to replace them when they show signs of wear. They are excellent for bird paws as captive birds can get blisters, especially birds that are restricted in flight due to wing clipping and must be on their feet all the time. A practice I find increasingly cruel as…

Funny how easy it is to tear a cockatoo

My umbrella cockatoo took some time to get used to. However, this applies to EVERYTHING new that he learns. I hung it from the ceiling next to its play stand so it had a place to climb up and swing around. Now he prefers it as his main stool to his stand and loves it when I rock him on it. Problems: The bell is too easily destroyed by a larger bird. I don't know why, but the first thing my U2 hunts for in a new toy is a bell. First he plucks the cracker, then he plucks the bell from the toy…
