Review on 🚀 Enhance Engine Performance with Motorcraft FG800A / FG1060 Fuel Filter by David Finley

Very easy to replace and ideal for OEM filters. Installed on a 2006 Mercury Mariner Hybrid at 100,000. The car showed no signs of needing a fuel filter change, but it was replaced on Ford's schedule. Out of curiosity, I cut open the old one to see how bad it was inside. The metal appears to be stainless steel - very well made and the filter inside was fully intact. It has a metal core in a paper filter. Cloudy, dark water and gas came out of the old filter, but the paper element wasn't as dirty as I thought it would be. You could probably just drain the water and keep using the filter. The quality of this inexpensive OEM filter does not make it worth using an aftermarket filter.
