This is an easy to use USB extender with limited uses. I used it to connect a hub that allowed me to control my keyboard and mouse. Computer across the room. The instructions say to use it for a printer that doesn't have network capabilities, and so far that's true; This adapter does not connect USB to your network. So you cannot use USB devices directly over the network; It uses NETWORK WIRES to transmit USB over long distances. Because my desk has an extra network cable going from side to side; I was able to connect this extra cable and use this adapter in the KVM switch that my keyboard and mouse are connected to. This way I could easily control the computer from the other side. All in all, this little device does what it's supposed to do. If you are looking for something similar then this is for you.
