Performance varies from device to device

This is a good product that fills a small niche market, but results can vary greatly from device to device. If you use this device to make a USB connection at a distance of more than 20 feet or so, the performance will drop quickly. This is mainly due to reduced bandwidth and errors from communication devices. If you transfer small data packets, e.g. B. Sending 1-2 pages to a printer, the problem is not that severe. It may take longer than usual to transfer data to the printer, but it should…

Worked great for my use case (see details). Recommended

I am currently using one of the free bedrooms for my creative work. It's a large space, which is good, but I was a little limited on how to plan the space. You see, the computer and printer were on one side of the room. Until recently I had a really large Lian Li computer case on my floor that was perfect for my flatbed scanner. After the PC disappeared, there was actually no suitable place left for the scanner. It is, and I don't actually use it that often. The solution came in the form of the

Works as advertised. Note the cable length

This device allows you to extend your USB connection far beyond the minimum normally allowed for USB cables. It's important to note that this will not bring any USB devices onto your network. - It simply uses the same Ethernet cable that your network uses to transfer data back and forth. So it's not that easy to connect it to a network switch, there has to be a direct connection between the two components. In testing, I found this to be better for keyboards, mice, and printers than hard drives…

My husband wish we had had this many years ago

As my husband is an engineer we usually have a lot of fancy or bespoke technology around our house (which doesn't bother me as it still works). When I asked him if he could use one of these, he said he had the perfect app for him; in particular, to allow him to remotely control our high-performance router over a dedicated network connection, since he cannot perform maintenance or updates on it over the network he routes. He said he just had to plug the transmitter into the router's USB port and

Works as intended, extends USB signal

This is an easy to use USB extender with limited uses. I used it to connect a hub that allowed me to control my keyboard and mouse. Computer across the room. The instructions say to use it for a printer that doesn't have network capabilities, and so far that's true; This adapter does not connect USB to your network. So you cannot use USB devices directly over the network; It uses NETWORK WIRES to transmit USB over long distances. Because my desk has an extra network cable going from side to…
