I want to start with a disclaimer. Although this monitor is advertised as a gaming monitor, I'm not a gamer. However, this does not mean that non-gamers cannot use the game monitor functions. My old monitor was not an HD monitor, even though my graphics card supports Full HD. I like to edit photos and videos and work a lot with spreadsheets. The Full HD monitor doubles my workspace compared to my old monitor. When working with spreadsheets I only saw 26 rows and my columns only went to column J. Now I can see 40 rows and columns in T without adjusting the window zoom. When I'm working with my photo editor, there's enough space to open the tools menu without interfering with the actual workspace, and the preview size when editing videos is amazing. Jlink couldn't have made setup easier. I use the stand that came with it. The monitor came with a stand already attached to the back, so all I had to do was attach the base with a screw and the installation was complete. The box also included an HDMI cable, which was nice since many manufacturers no longer included cables. Some might prefer DisplayPort over HDMI, but then again, I'm not a gamer and am quite happy with HDMI. The menu is very easy to navigate to adjust brightness, contrast, etc. It supports G-Sync if your graphics card also supports it. I ran Forza to see what the game would look like. I played this before on my old monitor and it looked really good. It's amazing on this monitor. I think players would be very happy with its performance. My only complaint is that the power adapter is a brick, so I had to reconfigure how everything connected to my power strip to accommodate it. Otherwise there are no dead pixels, which makes me very happy.
