Excellent material, durable and reliable. The ends of the rods needed a bit of polishing, they were a bit sharp but the file cured it. I wrapped two torsion springs around a 10 foot tall, 12 foot wide door. I recommend them as they turned out to be real cold rolled steel bars, nice and heavy. I've marked my black tape as a safety factor so I can confidently say I inserted them fully every time. And I sealed the other ends with tape so there's less danger if my hand slips off the pole. This can be a dangerous operation if you are untrained or a bit shy at first. Don't try if you are, it's better to have someone with experience.
