Review on 🔥 Carbon Filament Additive Manufacturing Products by KIMYA: Optimized 3D Printing Supplies by Matthew Watkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent durability and ease of use

I used this filament in my Direct Extrusion Ender-5 Pro with a PEI build plate. Adhesion: Generally very good at 100°C with edge, without glue or other additives. I didn't experience any delamination at all, although I expected little warping or no edges at lower bed temperatures - an issue I've had with the Ender-5 Pro for a while. The warpage I get isn't so much from drafts as it is from uneven cooling and shrinkage throughout the part - injection molding has the same phenomenon, and you just have to redesign it. Printing: At 250°C, this material extruded very smoothly with no spatter, which would indicate a wet spool of filament. I placed the spool in my little SunLu dryer while printing to make sure it didn't soak up moisture while running like I do with everything now. The finish of the part was fairly smooth, with a few small Z-axis issues that probably have more to do with my printer than this material. Feature: The part shown above was a custom designed 5 wall thickness 40% gyroid black water fitting, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height. The finished part was stiffer than the attached ABS tube. It was strong enough to withstand rough handling by a contractor when installing black water fittings from a wall-hung toilet, and did not break, warp, or leak when attached. Has been running for two months with no problems. I have a lot of experience with high performance FDM/FFF materials, I have used a lot of Ultem and ABS for aerospace parts in my professional career, both for prototypes and production. , and I can say that this thread is industrial for this type of parts (provided of course that your design is also suitable for production use). I hope you find this review helpful - if so, please let me know!
