Review on Revolutionize Your 3D Printing Experience with DURAMIC Flexible Dimensional Filament by Charlie Clayton

Good TPU filament, best consumable for 3D printing

TPU is a softer filament that can be difficult to print on depending on printer settings. I originally started out with deltas that used the Bowden system and TPUs weren't an option for me. I now use a direct drive system with my printer and it's a lot easier to use, but you still have to be careful with things like feeding etc. However, this TPU was of good quality and I would use this brand again if I need more of this in the future. The reel rolled well and the filament diameter was within specification. I tested it over a few distances and it seemed pretty average to me with nothing out of the ordinary. Printed well with no issues considering my machine was calibrated for TPU. The final print is also good. I would recommend it mainly to those who have experience with PLA and ABS though and not as a first thread or the one to use until you are comfortable using your machine and the cleaning issues that can arise due to printing issues. It's a good TPU filament though, so if that's what you're in the market for, I'd recommend it.

Pros
  • High elasticity and strength. Duramic TPU filament 1.75mm not only has high elasticity, which allows it to stretch up to three times its original length, but also high strength with a hardness of 95 Shore A. Duramic TPU is the ideal choice if you are rubbery , flexible and durable models, parts, jigs, tools, etc.
