This filter worked great on my 2012 Toyota Prius. I also bought a separate tool for removing the Toyota car filter that connects to a 3/8" socket and a separate drain plug washer. A good pair of disposable rubber gloves will help protect your cuticles from oil. I watched several YouTube videos with instructions on how to change this filter, which helped me a lot. Anything that keeps me away from the dealership mechanics and keeps my money in my pocket helps keep a smile on my face long after the job is done.
