Difference between day and night, I will never use stock filters again. I also replaced the oil cap because why not, that's part of the mind. It fits snugly in the central chimney, much tighter than normal, I'd say it's good. Thanks K&N for a great filter.

Excellent value for money but oil contaminates faster than higher quality end products. This is to be expected as it is an inexpensive, fast-acting filter. Expect an earlier oil change if your car requires a quick filter and you are on a budget for high quality quick filters.

This filter worked great on my 2012 Toyota Prius. I also bought a separate tool for removing the Toyota car filter that connects to a 3/8" socket and a separate drain plug washer. A good pair of disposable rubber gloves will help protect your cuticles from oil. I watched several YouTube videos with instructions on how to change this filter, which helped me a lot. So far so good. On Sunday I changed the oil and removed and put in the Purolator filter I was using. The inner hole fitted snugly into the tube in the oil filter housing and was the perfect length. I did not receive instructions or a ring in a sealed bag, but the filter and spacer ring were new and appeared to have been factory sealed in the box and not tampered with.
