Review on 🚀 176366 Volant Air Intake: Enhancing Performance and Boosting Power by July Sin

2017 3" JKU with oversized wheels 35" or larger. I felt like I needed to improve the throttle response a bit. This CAI should be a 30 minute job if you follow the correct installation order. With a few minor missteps, it took an hour or less. I disconnected the battery before installing. Throttle response improved after installation, but MPG dropped more than 1 MPG on the same PSI tire. I didn't expect MPG to go up much, but I didn't expect MPG to go down either. I disconnected the battery overnight and now after three days of riding I'm getting a 1.5mpg increase with better throttle response. I used a small plastic tie to hold the tubing in place (see photo). Overall the slight difference is for the better, and the Jeep definitely breathes smooth, and I like the slight growl above 2500 rpm that doesn't overpower like some other CAIs.
