A few months ago a handyman pulled our stove and scratched our hardwood floor. 26 inches of damage and I couldn't find any bottom repair covering it. They said the boards needed to be replaced but it would be impossible to match as ours are 30 years old. We came to terms with the contractor who caused the damage (ie gave us good change for his supervision). Then we stumbled across it and thought it might help in the situation. Hey, it doesn't hurt, does it? We tried it last night and I can't believe the difference it made. Completely saved our floor. Photos before and after below. Yet!
