Incredible Thing! Some things you need to keep for posterity are too big for your printer/flatbed scanner and this wand fills the gap. You can scan and save anything from art, pictures and books. Buying a micro SD separately (which can be used with other things like cameras, computers etc) spreads the cost as micro SDs usually come with a standard size adapter. When I first tried to use Wand, I didn't get good results: I only saw a small fragment of my document. I called a really great support team and found out I was scanning TOO SLOW! It took about 1 minute to explain and figure it out. Thank you vantage point. You also get really useful Paper Port software for scanning, searching and organizing documents. I used to work with this type of software before I retired and I really missed it, but not now. Also included is a USB cable for connecting to a computer, a cleaning cloth, batteries and a wand storage pouch. I'm so impressed I'm buying two more for Christmas gifts. And no, I'm not an employee of this company lol. It's just a very good product that meets my needs.
