This may be a minor issue, but it is less reliable than the original hose end. , Tabs make it easier to align the connector and notches prevent the connector from being inserted too deeply. Just enough for the clips to secure it to hold it in place. Since these tabs stick out far enough to get into the vacuum's electrical connection, I don't see how a model that uses a power head can allow this end of the hose to be inserted, unless You cut off tab 3. The insert on the other side fits, but is less than half the thickness of the original, so even if everything else fitted, it would be looser and I wouldn't expect it to last long.
