We struggled to keep the humidity high in our turtle cage. The last atomizer I tried was almost like a cheap humidifier. One that emits a light mist. It died after 2 weeks and you had to keep refilling. This pup right here plugs into a 5 gallon water jug like an office water cooler. You connect the filter to a hose that protrudes from the bottom of the jug. up to the control unit. Cut the pipe with the provided cutter. Run the hose from the control box to where you want to place the first sprayer, then cut the hose again. Plug the hose into the mister and then the rest of the hose into the other slider. They are inserted and locked. Then pull the tubing to where you want the 2nd nebulizer and cut the tubing again. Insert the tubing into the nebulizer, then seal the other end with the stopper provided. That's all! As for the controls. You can fog it up from 5 to 60 seconds. You can repeat this every 1-24 hours. A 20 second mist every 4 hours seems to help. I could increase the fog time and increase the number of hours. How our turtle runs out of her bedroom to get a little wet when she emerges!
