Good filter but there are some disadvantages. Installed on my 2015 Highlander with Mobil 1 0w20. The plastic part that drains the oil from the filter is threaded and screws into the filter housing where there is a metal plug that you remove with a 3/8 socket. I had a hard time matching the plastic threads to the metal filter housing. No wonder, as plastic is usually difficult to align on a metal thread and the plastic thread will interlock with the mating metal thread. As a result, the filter emptied very slowly and took forever to completely empty. After about 15 minutes I finally unscrewed the filter housing and took care of the oil residue that fell on my hand. The Toyota OEM filter features a plastic valve that snaps into the filter housing, providing a secure connection (as opposed to screwing into a threaded housing) and allowing residual oil to drain quickly. For this reason I prefer a snap-on valve. In addition, the OEM filter comes with a replacement drain plug washer. The Fram filter does not work so you will need to purchase it separately unless you want to reuse the old filter which is not recommended. Next time I'll use a Toyota OEM filter.
