I was the owner of a TV set-top box on an android - the idea is great, but the implementation is terrible, then the browser will crash, then the movie will not start, applications either work or not. I have been looking at Apple TV for a long time, but only recently found out everything to the end - that you can install applications that, by subscription, allow you to watch TV, movies and series (TOCAMOE and soap4atv | 200 + 100 / month). No one forbids downloading torrents on a PC and watching whatever they want from it, but from experience - all this time, which is very small. Everything fell into place, I breathed a sigh of relief: - TV with a weekly archive, movies and series - now you don't need to hope that today the application with series will not be stupid and will even start. - Music from your phone, tablet and Mac can be sent to Apple TV. If we are talking about a poppy, then there is only music (iTunes or browser), and system sounds "remain". - The same thing with screen repeat, you can find the video you need on Youtube on your phone, and the video itself will go to TV. - Management. The remote control is very convenient, in addition, the TV with the prefix "agreed", and without any settings, the remote control controls the volume of the TV. Also, if the set-top box is put into sleep mode, the TV will turn off, and when the set-top box wakes up, it will turn on. But in my case, the TV does not switch to the correct HDMI connector, although, according to the description on the apple website, it should. At first I thought that the price was high, but after using it for a while, you realize that it's worth it. In general, I have not been so happy with Apple technology for a long time.
