Review on 💡 ACDelco Gold 335-1306 Alternator: Dependable Power for Efficient Performance by Tim Knoepfle

Although this alternator should fit a '07 Infiniti G35x, it doesn't. This is not Revain's fault, it's AC Delco's problem as their website says this alternator will fit. It is not. 07 G35x uses a 3-pin connector. The Delco AC unit is a 2 pin connector only and is not compatible (see attached image). I ended up buying a generator from AutoZone which worked fine. A note on several comments about generators failing after a short time. Clips on harness connectors become brittle and break on Infiniti/Nissan vehicles. Unless the plugs are silicone or epoxy glued to a new alternator, they will eventually come loose and indicate a bad alternator when in fact it is a plug. Access to this connector is not easy on some of these vehicles. If someone else installed the generator, you are at their mercy and most likely they won't say a word because it's not an easy task. Pump (two 12mm bolts) to get to the alternator connector and see if that's the problem.
