Review on Get Creative With Klutz Mini Eraser Sweets Craft Kit - Make Your Own Sweet Treats! by Brad Phifer

So glad I bought this! It just needs more clay!

So fun I have to buy another set my daughter said.I was so hesitate in buying this because I was worried my kids couldn’t follow the instructions and it would just be difficult. Boy was I wrong completely. My 7 yr old daughter and her friend made a couple from the book all by themselves and then got creative and made their own design, even though they won’t fit on a pencil. They sat there for a good hour by themselves without any help. I only walked them through it initially on how to read the instructions. They were so ecstatic by their cute designs. I mean seriously best play date craft ever they said. I baked them and she got to take hers home. See my picture. The only negative is they should provide more clay. Seriously they can’t make as many as they say and you have to have a pretty thick piece in order to make it fit on an eraser (because you push the eraser in the bottom to make the hole). You can see from my picture how much clay was left over after their creations. They also wish there was more colors. The best part is the blue tool has an end to make the smile face that you just insert into the clay and they have little metal eyes you insert in. So it makes it that much easier to make the face. Easy peasey.

Pros
  • Kids can take pride in their creative works of art, using their mini eraser sweets as a fun and colorful addition to their pencil case or school supplies
Cons
  • The kit may be too time-consuming for children with short attention spans
