We used these plates and napkins for Thanksgiving dinner last night. They have worked very well for our family and friends of 16. The plates are pretty strong. They don't look like the sturdy Chinet cymbals, but they're better than many of the disposable cymbals I've used before. Napkins are wonderful! Definitely withstood multiple splashes from kids and was wide enough for our male knees. The dessert plates were of the same durable quality as the dinner plates and could hold 2 medium sized slices of cake. I would wholeheartedly recommend this set to anyone who wants beautiful decorative items to enhance their dining experience. I had no issues with off-set smells or off-colors. Nice.
