The router is incredibly customizable, supports application-based configuration, and has a fantastic command-line interface. The LCD display is an added bonus. It's still hard to believe that this device is so cheap. Use this router as your main internet router and use hotspots for wireless connection. This provides a reliable connection to the future with a reliable backbone. MikroTik setup took less than an hour for a typical home wired network. The device makes the configuration of firewall, NAT etc. an absolutely trivial task. Highly recommended!
