Completely rusted out in a year

These nuts are perfect for Tacoma 08 with 2016+ TRD off-road wheels. Installed with no problems and looked fine for a while. I've had them on my truck for about a year now and they're completely rusted, every single one of them. Haven't tried removing them yet, but I'm nervous.
