Bacon Wave is the most efficient way to cook bacon.

This is my new standard way to make bacon. I have tested this product many ways and found the most efficient way to cook bacon with this appliance. Use thickly cut bacon. Leave space between each part. Replace plastic skewers with wooden skewers. Cook 2 portions of 4-5 minutes with a break of 1 minute. Thinly sliced bacon hangs too low and doesn't hold up well, like torn. However, if you overload the meat with thick-cut bacon, the pieces will stick together in some places, and the bacon will not cook in those places. If you leave space, you're less likely to stick together. Although you only get half the bacon in one microwave session, filling it half full still seems faster overall. The supplied plastic sticks become flexible when heated, then you have to let the Bacon Wave stand for a few minutes. before exposing it to high-intensity microwave radiation. Buy a box of wooden skewers from the grocery store and use them instead of plastic skewers. This saves you a lot of headaches and lets you cook the bacon faster. The rest of the tray feels thick and I had no problem with the heat making it too brittle. Cleaning is very quick. The tray fills up with fat and you just pour it into a cup or you can drink it and see if it gives you super powers. Even if you've never cooked bacon in the microwave and are wondering if you can get crispy bacon, the answer is yes, you can. Replace them with wooden ones, which will cost a few extra dollars. Now I eat bacon.
