Review on Wingman Mirror Safe View Company by Johnny Grant

Plan your real glass installation properly. Added photos of the installation process.

I have a Lexus CT, side mirrors and rear window are small leaving a blind spot. I used to use a wide angle Broadway rear view mirror but it blocked the garage button on the factory mirror and I lost the auto dimming feature so I decided to try this. I usually hate round ones as I think they look ugly and tasteless depending on the shape of the side mirror. First, the mirrors are truly transparent because they are real glass. I ordered some from an auto parts store and they were either foggy or reflective (no glass) or both. The glue is a really sticky 3 meter stuff so you have a chance to get it right. For planning I made templates using the Revain soft bubble wrap they came with lol. I just laid the mirrors on the soft material and trimmed them, worked great as the packaging material is thin plastic, it conforms to the convex shape of the mirrors to get an accurate shape compared to using plain paper. I put double sided tape on the templates to decide where the mirrors would look aesthetically. I then used masking tape to secure the mirrors in place without sagging. Make sure the blind spot mirrors are carefully taped to attach them and carefully attach them to my side mirror so they don't accidentally fall off and break. I then peeled the top of the masking tape off my side mirror so that the tape was holding the blind spot mirrors while the other end of the tape was still hanging from the side mirrors. That way I can remove the 3m of tape and use masking tape as a guide to lift the mirrors up and easily return them to the same aligned spot by peeling back the tape with no play. The final work will be perfect. In general, I like them a lot and they look stylish. I actually think they gave my car an amazing aesthetic. They stick out about 1/4 inch, but that's only noticeable up close at certain angles.
