I bought this because one of my lousy cats has a habit of kicking the door open and making a dramatic entrance (probably to remind us that he was thinks he is the supreme royal family *Drama King* 🙄). This great product should have a question mark after the word "Hi" because that's how I feel when it makes its over-dramatic entrance. It's almost perfect! Ideal weight for both toddlers to get in and out without opening the door. The only problem (actually this is just his problem). He was so damn curious that he started scratching him. So I stuck a stuffed animal through the handle so he wouldn't scratch it. But for its absurdity, the stars are not removed. I really dig the weight. Even my 22 year old 100 pound niece struggles to open the door without confusing the anvil position. From what has been said, I really wish the animals were that heavy. They are way cuter! One star deduction for that. All in all very worth buying!
