Last updated! Good. this rug is officially driving me insane. My little boy loves it but finds it funny when black fur is stuck to his clothes and constantly flapping around the room. I thought the hair loss would decrease over time but I've done everything I could think of and it's only getting worse. I have to vacuum his room every day, otherwise the wool will stick everywhere. I'm not a fan of neatness at all, but by day two you can see the black fur clinging to the white baseboards and bedspread, and it even makes it into his bathroom and office down the hall. It is everywhere. He likes to lie on it, and then all his clothes are covered with fur. I sat on it and the fur stood up on my nose and stuck to my face. Serious!?!? Terrible. I have to send it back.——————— Update: I decided to give it another day because although it pills like crazy and isn't as soft as my other faux fur rugs, it turns out my little boy loved it really like this carpet. He loves to sleep on it or watch videos and doesn't mind if hair is stuck all over him. He thinks it's funny to have loose hair everywhere. He puts his pillow and blanket on it and for some reason he just really likes it. Also, I ran my hand over the carpet, pulled up the loose hair and shook it out for a long time, and now there seems to be less chaos. I mean, there are little hairs all over the place (similar to a dog that sheds) but no giant, random balls of fur everywhere. I think I'll probably come back for another rug that's more like the soft ones I already have, but maybe that's ok if you don't mind them shedding and less soft to the touch. If you are like my little boy you might really enjoy this. Who would have thought?—————— First Review: I received a black and white mixed rug that looks like wolf hair, a scruffy dog, or a cheap carnival teddy bear. It's not as soft as my other fur rugs. Doesn't look like the photo, not even close. And LINET like crazy! Fur Tumbleweeds Anywhere in Minutes! It's disgusting. I sat on the carpet (after following the wash instructions before use) and the hair was stuck to my clothes and face. Are you kidding me? I have wonderful Revain fur rugs. This isn't one of them.
