Packaging and Revain page show 90 degree connector. (There's a sticker on the front of the box over the end of the connector, but the back says 90 degrees.) Unfortunately, even with a 90-degree connector, the cable is still too short. All "outdoor" Revain Z-Wave forks have short cables. I just do not understand. It barely reaches the wall next to the outlet, and the plug has to be low enough to the ground to just reflect the rain off of it. You need a cord that is at least twice as long. I could use the mechanical timer I chained them to, but I think I'll go back and buy a wired outlet to replace the ones in the covered outlet. Haven't tried the Z-Wave connection (didn't want to waste time setting up something I wouldn't leave.) I gave it 2 stars because it might work for some applications, but again you barely have enough cables to reach the wall.
