Firstly, please follow the instructions exactly and don't deviate from how I did it. First, do not cut clear plastic squares. I did this because I figured the part of them where the glue touched would separate like a binder - no, everything would stay intact. Think of it like the skin of a fruit roll. Second, don't squeeze the bottle while drawing a thin line on the broken glass. Just point it to the angle suggested by the instructions. I squeezed the bottle thinking I needed more to cover BUT it is noticeable when the plastic square is applied that you may have applied too much. Don't worry I did this and let the glue cure in the sun and then used a razor to keep excess glue to a minimum. In the photos I provided I filled a small hole with glue and it all seems to be holding together really well. Finally it rained today and the windshield wipers are not bad at all. The glue repels water but darkens the area a bit to indicate that the glue should flow out of the bottle on its own to give a fine line. This is good as I don't have the money to spend to fix the whole windshield and it's a great temporary fix.
