Review on Babish Whisk 2 Piece Stainless Steel by Jerome Brooks

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Mismatched in finish and materials, plus not what is advertised

Three hits for an easy purchase. Wow.Strike 1: no intentionally cheap materials: metal is not at all rustproof and not corrosion resistant. Rust spots quickly began to appear on the wires, followed by rust spots forming corners instead of bends, and then stress cracks due to the curvature of the wires. We're talking 5-6 uses at most, gently hand washing it as I don't want the dishwasher to fill the handle with liquid. I have larger whisks older than me (I'm 43) that are fine after decades of use and washing dishes, and these failed after growing up. This is the conscious use of inferior materials. Shot 2: Poor workmanship: The wires came loose from the grip when first used on both racquets. This is absolutely pathetic. Strike 3: Not as advertised: The lack of a logo on the pen likely means outsourcing to a fake manufacturer that doesn't care a bit about quality, as the image and two swipe gestures above show. They are so ashamed of the poor quality that they don't even name it. I'll try to come back but I'm not sure it will be soon enough. Please do not support this unethical business practice of developing products that the company clearly knew could be made better. The only way to stop these business practices is to fight them financially. Don't buy this junk and send it back even if it costs you to ship it back. The message needs to be sent so that we don't deal with this issue again in the future.
