Expensive but works

This works when you need to replace the One Touch blades for a 22 inch Weber Kettle Grill. My old blades were warped so they let a lot of air down and didn't fit fully onto the kettle, making temperature control difficult. This was a simple install, but there are a few things you need to be aware of.1. Removing old parts can be painful depending on how old or rusty they are. There are no words in the instructions just pictures and this shows that you can remove the old part with a screwdriver. In my case it worked, but it required a lot of struggle and rough handling. I still had to spray some WD-40. Your mileage may vary, some youtube videos show how to saw it with power tools.2. remember pictures If you follow the instructions below you will come across a step that shows you need to position blade "1" so that it faces forward where the handle enters. Well that's wrong because you can't insert the bar into the slot because the slot with the notch is on the opposite side. In my case I had to point the blade "2" forward where the handle is inserted. Not sure if it matters, but it seems to work fine.3. After struggling multiple times with reseating the blades and disassembling/reassembling the blades due to incorrect instructions, I believe I damaged the part where the handle is supposed to snap when you turn it. It won't snap into place for me and now just rotates. Not perfect, but still works. EDIT: I finally got the handle fixed, the problem was due to an error on my part. I had the "H" washer in the wrong position to go under the kettle. Now it snaps into place and works perfectly! So overall it works and is better than warped old blades. The metal feels cheap and unreliable and feels expensive at 18.99 what I paid. Still better than buying a new grill, so cheers.
