I installed these bearings on my 2005 2500hd after about 40,000km. Both bearings make pops and rattles when rotating at low speeds. It happened when driving 12000-15000 km. I narrowed it down to that by replacing everything that literally moves forward from the hitch. When I lift the truck off the ground, grab the steering wheel and squeeze really hard like I'm trying to turn it over, there's a noise. What confuses me is that there is absolutely no play in the wheel and no vibration at all. It runs perfectly smooth and quiet until you drive across the parking lot and pull into a stall and *POP* watch everyone to see what happened.
